The founding of HCC
In 2016 we moved our family to Ankeny, IA, with plans to pursue our dream of becoming entrepreneurs. During the summer of 2018 we founded Hensley Concrete Coatings, INC., after Dennis had spent several years in the coatings and polishing industry.
When we are not at the shop or on jobsites, you can find us at our kid’s practices, games, races, or even out in the field hunting wild game! Fun Fact: Dennis has a partnership with Victory Outdoors, an informative & entertaining digital hunting show airing on all major digital platforms, including The Pursuit Channel!
Coming from the rural farming community of Bedford, Iowa, Dennis was taught early in life, the value of respect and how to provide quality customer service in business, through watching his father build a successful auto body shop. While growing up, Dennis learned not only about his passion for creative arts, but also his attention to detail, with perfectionist tendencies.
We strive to have Dennis on all jobsites to ensure that each project is complete from start to finish, with top-notch quality. It is our passion to provide exceptional flooring and service to all our clients with the desire to develop and maintain long-lasting relationships.
Dennis and our team have been privileged to work with some of the leading contractors, suppliers, and trainers in our industry. All team members are certified in Concrete Polishing and all Coating and Decorative Concrete systems.
